Georgia O'Keeffe

01/01/1930
Overview
Written to playwright Bradshaw, O'Keeffe writes of not feeling well and says: "No -- I do not work -- I am to have nothing worth saying --- I guess I am well enough to work if I wanted to but I can't get myself to want to --- It is a horrid way to be --" This is written the year after O'Keeffe visited New Mexico, where she became enchanted with the landscape. This letter is written right at the age where her career really started to develop
