Biography
Amelia Allwarden, ACE, is a Los Angeles-based film and television editor known for her dynamic storytelling and creative versatility. She is currently editing Overcompensating for A24 and Amazon. Her credits include HBO’s Dune: Prophecy and Marvel Studios’ Echo. Amelia also edited six episodes across all Emmy-nominated Hulu series Pen15 seasons and collaborated with writer/director Aubrey Plaza on Cinema Toast, a Duplass Brothers anthology series for Showtime. Amelia was originally from New Hampshire and earned a prestigious spot in the American Cinema Editors (ACE) Internship Program in 2015. She began her professional career as an assistant editor on TNT’s Good Behavior, where she was promoted to editor in season two. Amelia also worked as an assistant editor on season two of HBO’s Westworld under showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. During this time, she edited Evan Rachel Wood’s directorial debut short film, Queen. She reunited with Nolan and Joy as an editor on Westworld season four. Committed to supporting the next generation of editors, Amelia actively mentors aspiring assistant editors and emerging talent in the post-production community. Frank Balkin and Brian J.
