Born in Jakarta. Education: HCS. Had worked as a civil servant at the Ministry of the Economy for only a few months, after that he became an orchestra singer. His desire to become a film player grew after he participated in the play "Bintang Timur". Falling into the 1953 film as a player in the film "Machluk Giant", following "Hungry Tiger Nachoda" (1953), "Wandering Pilgrims" (1953), "Djubah Hitam" (1954), "50 Megaton" (1960), "Minah Gadis Dusun" (1966) and others.
