The George S. Patton, Jr. collection consists of letters written by George S. Patton, Jr., his mother, Beatrice, and his sister, Anne. A radio script entitled "These Are Our Men: The Story of Lieutenant General George S. Patton Jr." and an address to the Western Task Force by Patton, and news clippings regarding Patton's activities during the years 1943-1945 are also included. The Patton collection also contains photographs, most of which are reproductions highlighting Patton's overseas commands during World War II. Included in the photos with Patton are such notables as: American Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and Harry S. Truman; American Secretary of War Robert P. Patterson; British Prime Minister Winston Churchill; Sultan Mohammad V of Morocco; British officers Louis Mountbatten (Royal Navy), Bernard Montgomery, Harold Alexander, and William Teddler (Royal Air Force); American officers George C.
