Overview
It's 2005. A surprise post-Thanksgiving family trip to a myth-shrouded, sparkling tropical destination, far across the ocean. A centuries-old mystery, solved by a trio of pre-teen sleuths and their new friends? They call themselves the Worldwide Websters, and you might say Keely, Meghan, and Callan Webster are 'old hands' at travel, discovering new and exciting locales, people, and customs with their dad, Alex. Yet somehow, the curious siblings always seem to fall into tight situations and find secrets, intrigue, and insights along the way. They don't know exactly what to expect as they immerse themselves in the language, culture, and cuisine of the legendary isle of Moorea. Together with their nanny, Jessica, they explore its teeming lagoons, jagged mountain peaks, and ancient monuments. The travelers from the Pacific Northwest venture well beyond the typical tourist sites, all around the island. But not even their history-buff dad ever dreamed that a business trip to Tahiti and French Polynesia - site of the infamous "Mutiny on the Bounty" incident - might lead to such exciting adventures, above and below its waters. Nor that the Worldwide Websters might play a pivotal role in a family feud that could destroy - or preserve - a 700-year-old shared legacy.
